how to copy multiple cells in excel that arent next to each other

Hi Snakehips,

I want to do this using a formula. Dont want to do this manually as there are over 100 cells.

I did some research online and came across this function OFFSET. MS Knowledge base has an example but its not working for me.

Here's the real problem:

On Sheet 1, I have values in cell I260, N260, S260..and so on..an increment of 5 columns. I want to copy all these values and put this in Sheet2 in Cell C2, C3,C4 so on.

I tried using the formula =OFFSET('[Cash Stats 2015.xlsx]Allocating Team'!$I$260,0,(COLUMN()-3)*5) in CELL C2. It correctly picks the value from Cell I260. But when I copy the formula down, it shows the values from I260 only and does not pick values from N260, S260 etc.

Hope this helps.

If you are wanting to do this manually (?) then
Select A1
Press and hold the Ctrl key and click each other cell F1,K1 etc
With all desired cells are selected - right click >> Copy

Select first destination cell >> Paste

Hope that helps.Click to expand...
